Max Herzog succesfully defended his PhD thesis
Max Herzog submitted his PhD thesis back in August and Thursday the 9th November he defended his thesis in front of an international assessment committee consisting of Dr Borum (local chair), Prof. Sauter (University of Kiel, Germany) and Prof. Visser (Radboud University, the Netherlands). Max's thesis is entitled "Mechanisms of flood tolerance in wheat and rice - The role of leaf gas films during plant submergence".
Max gave a brilliant summary of his impressive research that consists of 3 first author papers and 2 co-authored papers.
