A new batch of BSc students have now graduated
The past few months have been busy in our lab. After a serious lift in corona restrictions, all thesis student have been allowed back into the labs and our students all took great advantage of this opportunity.
Max, Elisa and I have been busy with supervision of projects spanning from submergence tolerance of wild rice or new African rice cultivars to drought responses in rice and wheat. The projects all turned out very well and our external examiners (Dennis Konnerup from Aarhus University and Morten Foldager Pedersen from Roskilde University) were both happy with the achievement and all students received well-deserved good grades.
The thesis reports feeding into our Climate-smart African rice will all be made available from www.climate-smart-rice.com in due time.
