Still working - but with some restrictions

It seems that the policy of the Danish government is to maintain as much activity in the society as possible – but with major restrictions on social activities. Therefore, we can continue our teaching and research if we observed the guidelines for social distance and in the few cases where we are unable to keep distance, we need to wear mask or shield. The students are happy because they can continue the training on campus whereas most of our meetings are online via Zoom or Teams.

We are making progress with our research. Johan has completed his experimental work (and also most of the data analyses), Lucas is close to submitting his first 1st author paper, Elisa and Max are working on their reviews and lab experiments and Tong has got a good start in our group. He has received informal training from Lucas and Max in most of our key analytical approaches. I have a number of papers that have been accepted (or close to) but I will wait with further details until I have the actual PDFs in my hand.

Next week, Zhiwei Song will arrive from China – stay tuned for a short presentation once he has completed his self-isolation.
